• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Reflectors

Has anyone removed the 2 reflectors on each front fender or the one on each saddlebag on a F3-T? I would like to know if they are attached with adhesive or held on by bolts/screws before I attempt to remove them. I am also wondering if the area behind them is finished or rough. I know that BRP is very safety conscience but these are overkill in my book.
Thanks,
Grady

The reflectors on the saddlebags are on with an adhesive. Take a heat-gun, warm them up and they peel right off.

The reflectors on the front fenders are held in place with little metal push washers. Remove the wheel and on the under side of the fender there are five screws you remove to take off the top part of the fender. Once off, you have access to the reflectors.

The only reason to take them off would be to replace them with LED's. It's a very east install (the front ones).

My wife's 2015 F3s had adhesive on the front fender rear reflectors....holy crap, was a pain to remove even with a hair dryer!:banghead::banghead::banghead:. Actually cracked one pulling it off. Thought mebbe it had a hardened glue on it. It did have the push washers and it had a glued on grayish colored pad. I got them off of there though:shocked:...

I have a 2015 F3 with the red reflectors on the back of the front fenders. I'm extremely puzzled as to why anyone would want to remove them and why there is even a thread here about it. But that's just me.:banghead:

We we tend to wanna add L.E.D. lighting where those reflectors are...so they gotta be removed.:2thumbs:

Replaced mine with TricLED lights

But I did it the easy way...had TricLED guys do mine....but soooo worth the extra lighting for safety reasons....
