Reflectgard

My Reflectgard arrived today via UPS. This is a new product for Spyder RTs. It's to be applied to the back, black areas of the RT. It's black in color until headlights hit it and then it reflects back as white.
I purchased it from Morgan Holt at JMH Associates in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Morgan Holt presented his product at a SRA meeting for the Venom in Vandiver last month. I was impressed as it's another great product for other motorists to SEE us on our Spyders. They don't have a product for the RS versions of the Spyder at this time.

After I install the Reflectgard, I will be taking photos and posting them on the mods section of SpyderLovers.
I think I'm the second person to purchase this kit. $39 plus shipping.

I bought some sheets of that stuff a year ago. Wonder what I did with it...

This is what the ReflectGard looks like when light hits it. It should be brighter from head lights than from the flash of my small camera. I modified the bottom panel because of the tracking bug sticker that is on there. This stuff in normally black in daylight. I put some of it on the trunk release handle too.

Looks very nice. I buy and cut my own reflective tape, but it never ends up looking that good!

Did it come pre-cut? It looks way too good and symmetrical to be hand done....but if you did....can you cut mine?! :bowdown:

It looks like they offer something for helmets as well. Unfortunately no link to it on their site.
I guess a phone call is in order.

It comes in a kit, all on one sheet. The long piece has a notch in it so you can find the center. They are all pre-cut. The instruction sheet has the layout with an ID of each piece and where it goes.

They haven't put anything on the website yet.
