I saw the same auction and was gonna post the same question. I'm thinking it's a paint job. The tell all is on the SE5 isn't the handlebar console silver just like the other colors?

It sure looks like the factory red, but I don't know how that could be possible. The reds weren't supposed to be released until September. :dontknow: Also, did you notice the Hindle exhaust is already on it?

I have to agree, the handlbar console being painted red is not factory. This is a paint job. Which is fine, I had mine painted. I just hope whoever buys this doesn't think it came this way straight from the factory. The advertising is somewhat misleading. Whoever buys it though, they will have a nice red spyder and I guess that is all that really counts.

You are probably right about the paint job, but this is not an SE5. The ad says it is a manual transmission, so it would be an SM5.

The clutch lever is a dead give away, it is a SM5 for sure!

I emailed the guy selling the :spyder:and he said,

"we got the paint codes from brp and had it done locally."

so there you go they forgot to put that in the ad didn't they.
