• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Start with 17 psi and then use white chalk and make a white line across the tread of your tire. Drive around and check the chalk line and see where it wears off the fastest. If the center of the line wears off first reduce the pressure until it wears off evenly. If it wares off the sides first increase the pressure. Avoid making too many turns during the process.

26 PSI :lecturef_smilie: ..... but what do I know :dontknow: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: ........ Mike

It's still likely to be better than the Kendas Mike, but you'n I KNOW they are sacrificing some traction and tire life doing that... :gaah:

:agree: .... and the ONLY reason She's using the Altimax, is because, after 3 months of talking to Her, I finally convinced Her to Scrap the Kenda and get the Altimax ............... It would have taken at least 3 more months to get her BELOW 26 psi ........ :lecturef_smilie: :roflblack: :roflblack:

hankook 175/65-14's on the front my 2012 RTS running 19lbs.
kumho 225/50-15 on rear running 19 lbs.
these pressures seemed to work the best for me so far
still experimenting with pressures.

I am running 18 front and 20 rear. I started off lower but the bike was a little mushy for me. I know Mike suggests a lower pressure but I am an overweight old guy who needs a little more psi help. And, I don't ride in the rain (on purpose). I am very comfortable at 18/20 and the contact patch looks even on the tires.

I run 18 in the front and 26 in the rear seams to rride good. And I putput 50 to 55 in air shock. Ride is really nice.

:agree: ... 20 is OK , The fronts ( Formosa's ) can very safely be run at 14psi ..... the ride will be more comfortable with better traction ....... 32 psi is insanity ...... Here's something you can try .... Bring the PSI in your car tires up to the maximum stated on the sidewall .... then go for a driver on a bumpy road ........ you will see very quickly how BAD the ride has now become .... Tires are an important part of the Suspension sytem ... Have you ever ridden a Harley Hard Tail ??? ..... Mike
