• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I said I'd post this, so here it is;

BUTTERMILK PIE

3 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups buttermilk
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
1 Tablespoon lemon juice

Beat yolks, adding sugar gradually. Cut butter into flour; add buttermilk, zest, and juice. Fold into yolks.
Pour into 9 inch pie shell, bake in 425 degree oven 10 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool.
Pile meringue lightly over cooled filling, bake in 350 degree oven 12 to 15 minutes.
Lemon zest and juice may be omitted if desired, meringue is optional.

You can top this with fruit, or preserves.

enjoy,
john
