Had an unusual occurance today. Was riding my 2011 RT when I decided to mute the radio to talk to someone at the traffic light, when I hit the up arrow to reinstate the sound I got nothing. In fact I lost all indication that I even had a radio or CB on board. The spyder still runs fine but I have no radio ,CB or any other indication that any accessories were ever installed. Checked all the fuses both front and under the seat all check out good, at a loss as to where to go next unless its to the dealer. Any suggestions?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Don't you press the down volume button again to resume the audio? I thought you press down once to mute and down again to unmute.
Operators guide states "Press the DOWN button and hold it for more than one second. The audio volume will mute. From the mute setting, pressing the UP button will reset the audio volume to its last setting." This procedure rarely worked this way for my bike but after pressing the Up button several times in the past the volume would finally come on; at first this was only a minor inconvience but apparantly it was an indication that perhaps more problems were present. At this time I have no indication of accessories being installed, when I press the Mode button it goes from the initial main screen to the trip screen to the preferences screen completely skipping the audio screen,cb screen,and ipod (aux) screen. My local dealership is not open on Mondays so I'll have to wait a day to get it in for checkup, I was hoping someone out there would have a magic fix as I hate having a problem I can't find an answer to post haste.
