• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recall BRP Wind Deflectors

As of now I am picking up my 2013 RTL on Thursday. I think I read someplace on here that BRP gives a rebate on the wind deflectors since
they are removed with the recall. Is this true and does anyone know how much it is.

Thx,
Dave

You need a receipt for the purchase of the adjustable deflectors to get a credit for goods or service at your dealer

I also received $150 credit, for the ones I installed. I believe this is the max amount they were authorizing. Did not need a receipt.

None at all...
But they are removed, as part of the heat mitigation repairs to the 2013 RTs....
If you had purchased BRP's adjustable air-deflectors; they literally are buying them back from you.

Here's How it Works

You need a receipt for the purchase of the adjustable deflectors to get a credit for goods or service at your dealer
What if you had purchased the chrome ones? They were about $190... :dontknow:
You do not need a receipt. If your bike shows up for the recall with adjustable deflectors installed, your dealer should inform BRP . BRP will ask for them back, and credit you the current retail price before tax. That should cover both the clear and chrome ones.

To get BRP to issue dealer credit for prior heat remediation expenses , you will need receipts. Only certain remedial procedures are "acceptable" to BRP, and they decide how much credit you will receive.

Both credits are handled as credits to the dealer's offset account. Once the amount is determined, the dealer should then issue you a credit to spend at their store.
