• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear Trunk Lid

I just had the 3rd and 4th rear lights installed by Tricled. Now my rear trunk lid will not latch. Have anyone experience this problem?

I have a 2011 and installed them myself. My trunk shuts fine. I'd have Tricled correct the problem. That shouldn't happen...

The piece that goes across the trunk and down to each side bag must be reinstalled properly. There's a tab under it that must be fitted correctly and the 8 screws should not be completely tightened until all has been adjusted and the lid is closing and latching properly. It's something you can correct without complete disassembly, if you're mechanically minded. If not, as has been said have them correct it. It'll only take a couple of minutes. :doorag:

:agree: You've got a bunch of Torx-heads across that inner lip, and two down on each side... (open up the side cargo areas...)
It's a pretty easy piece to play around with to get lined up correctly; just DON'T twist it enough to bust it!

Let the installer look at it to see why the lid won't close properly.

When they are properly installed, they fit, look and work great
