• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear seat cowl question

Installed the rear seat cowl cover and I notices that to the rear where the cowl touches the rear cover it might rub and cause the paint on the rear piece to come off, anyone has this problem and any fix. Also to the sides of the seat where the cover touches both left and right it also looks like the cover will rub the vinyl and cause it to tear. I like the look of the cowl cover that makes it look like only for one rider but I am more concern with it causing these problems.

I've had my cowl since I bought my bike...no problems at all...it's attached snugly and seems to fit well....

There have been quite a few notice the same with the cowl. Do a search as there were a few solutions if I remember correctly.

Don't have it anymore but... put a small strip of velcro where you think it will rub... or some of the very small, stick-on, round felt "buttons" from a hobby or home repair store... or even the very small velcro buttons.

yes it will rub because it is not a flush fit. Check out Lamonts thread on this; he tied it down with some bungee cords I think. I put mine on about three weeks ago and it did rub so I used the cords as well and now it looks oh so pretty:D
