• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear fender

Have there been any more issues of the rear fender brackets braking. Mine are cracked after our trip. New ones are on order.

We are getting two new sets of fender brackets (mine and my wife's Spyders), both under warranty.

We probably had around 20,000 miles on the Spyders when we noticed the breaks. I never noticed mine cracking until I took the rear fender off to go with the fenderless look. We found dltang's breaks when we noticed that her fender was really shaking all over while riding down the road.

I had a little over 13,000. When another biker following me told me my fender was flopping around all over. My spyder seems to have developed a lot more Vibration than it used to have. And I wonder if thats what is Causing it.
Anyone else notice a Vibration increase over time? :dontknow:

Oh by the way these cracks are pretty hard to see at first. As they run right along the edge were the fender and bracket meet.

i did not have vibration problem until mile 18000. i can tell there are 2 different types of vibrations. one is caused by leo vince and other i can not tell. my dealer replace the brackets along with fender itself, all on BRP. fenders were scraped when one side of bracket tore off completely.
make sure they order the reflectors on the brackets. apparently, they are not part of the brackets and dealer realized that after they received the brackets and had to order separately. back to vibration, my spyder had all kinda problems but vibration was not one of it, especially on the grips.
my dealer is blaming aftermarket products(leo vince, ken's raceair flow)
