• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear air suspension leak -warranty?

Spyder VaBeach

I took my 2010 spyder RT to have the warranty campain 2010-6 regarding the rear suspension inspection and calibration. When I got it back I noticed it had no air pressure in the shrader valve under the seat. The warranty campain states if rear air suspension pressure is 0 (zero) , refer to service billetin 2010-15. Has anyone else experienced the trouble, and should it be covered under the warranty campain, or my Best extended warranty?

Yes, it happens. Did you just have the work done? Take it back to the dealer but first try putting air in it and see if it holds. There is a chart under the seat with the pressure settings.

AIR LEAKING

:gaah: :agree:....My new RT ( basic ) has a leak somewhere in the system....So before it goes in for the winter it will go to the dealer for warranty fix......They say it could be ....hose...valve ( not ) ......bag.....fitting etc.........Time consuming repair .......Mikeguyver

As I see it..!!

if it was fine when it went in to the shop..they need to fix it. Now if they run it through warranty is their problem. You should be covered either way. Like Ann said test it yourself first...

Once I got it back from the shop I put in 40 pounds and checked it 5 minutes later. It lost 10 pounds of

air, and within 30 minutes it was back to 0. I called the shop and am dropping it back off tomorrow.....

Update to leaking rear suspension......2010 RT

Just got my 2010 RT back from the shop. They had to replace a defective air bag. It seems to be holding air now. They charged me the $50 deducable from my Best extended warranty. Thanks for all the help. This forum is a great place to get help.
