• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Really Curious

I have a 2010 RT A&C SE5 that I bought new in June, 2011 and it's now showing 24,000 miles on the odometer. With the exception of a rear shock replacement at 12,000 miles and a Throttle Body replacement at 22,000 miles, Skoot3r has been trouble-free. Right now my Sweety and I thoroughly enjoy our rydes and have no desire to update to a newer model. I am really curious how many others are enjoying their older model and are planning to continue adding miles of ryding on their current machines.

I did trade off my 2010 RTS at 36,000 miles. The trade put me in 2014 1330 ACE territory.

We still have our 2011 RT A & C. Purchased new in 2012, we have 16,000 miles on it. This is akspyderlady's ride and we plan on keeping it for a long time. Hope to get 100,000 miles plus on it.

Hanging on..!!

our RS 2012 has 25,000 touble free miles with just normal wear items changed and see no reason to trade to anything else. Not a fan of the RT's or F3's so our choice is easy. Yours not so much with the improvements made to the RT's...yours does have a lot of life left in her...

44,000

44,000 and counting....
i have an '09 RS/SE5 since new... been to Utah and back, Missouri and back, Florida many times... and just this past week i had my very 1st issue... i had the
SE5 Shift Switch replaced... i can't say enough GOOD things about my SPYD3R... i'm struggling with the idea of purchasing of a new 2015 F3, i'm not sure about that front end, looks like my John Deere lawn tractor... but i REALLY want that 1330... if i do buy the F3, i will keep my RS as well... you never know when company will show up with their ride... got'a have an extra hanging around don't cha-know...

Us managerial accountants and economists would consider your 09 as a sunk cost. Any costs involved with the 09 are in the past and not relevant to the current decision (F3). In English, that means you can hang on to it forever, I'm sure its paid for, etc. You don't consider any costs on the 09 and you can go ahead and update to the F3 with no pain or remorse. That way, you can have two very different and fun rides in your garage.

2010 RT A&C SE5 (new in spring of 11) 45,000 miles and still cruises well. Heck it even had to stay home in FL this year and missed the trip to the Owners event in Durango. The new ST made that trip.
I would trust the old RT on a trip to anywhere, or nowhere in particular.
We test drove a 14 RT and opted to keep our 2010 as we love the 998 rotax and couldnt part with it yet.
It does have its quirks, bakes my right foot on full day rides and stinks up the garage if we put it away hot.
But we deal with it. Heck I'm not perfect either.

I really like that 998 too. I know the power curve and shift points without the tach. The quirks....ah you get used to them. Also not perfect and I also have been said to have my quirks.
