• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pretty sweeet . Did you get it from Pete at Power Sports Wraps ?

Yes I received it from Pete on Tuesday, just got around to installing this morning. It looks better in person, makes the classy white look classsssieeee! This way I can do some suttle black graphics or even carbon fiber racing stripes.

I believe Pete will give me a reward for being the first Real Carbon Fiber install... What do you think Pete??

LOOKS REALLY NICE...I HAVE THE RED/BLACK COMING SOMETIME.....I THINK.....HOW WAS IT TO INSTALL?

The install is very simple. I cleaned the dash install surfaces with alcohol 4-5 times. I then laid out each piece seperating left to right sides and became familiar with where they went. I laid them in place without removing the backing to see exact placement. I first peeled the backing on my first piece, without making finger contact with the adhesive side, while I had my wife apply the contact adhesive promoter to ONLY the area I was getting ready to install. The adhesive promoter is a thin small sponge saturated with a small amount of liquid, so after opening apply adhesive promoter quickly and place back into the pouch and put a paper clamp to keep from evaporating. I determined prior what I thought was the best method for install, then I carefully laid into place lightly tacking 1-2 points then pressing down firmly. I then used a hair dryer for about 4 seconds and my wife pressed it all down while I prepared to install the next piece. The reason I had her apply the adhesive promoter, it was just much quicker than doing it myself and replacing the sponge and closing the pouch.

I am pretty meticulous with my toys as you can probably tell...

WOW, That looks great. I love carbon fiber. Would love to do all of my bodywork in real carbon, but for now all I have found is to wrap it. Might just go that way so it matches the Carbon Busa.

Chazzy, you kicked it up a notch, BAM! I love it and now I'm antsy waiting for mine to come in. I'm glad that you posted the idea of a second hand. Great idea. I'll have my wife do the same. Pete says ours will be in next week. There's been a lot of response, so I'm going to start another group buy for those that are looking for a really cheap and cool looking dash.

Take care my man!
