• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a test question for you. I finally received my Samsung, bluetooth headset and charger yesterday through RoyalMail in England. Here's the question: What should I have considered when I was purchasing this item? It has nothing to do with delivery. Hint: I'm here in the states.

Roger I know your powers of deduction are second to only Sherlock Holmes and harry you're from England so you should know.

My guess would have been that it speak American English rather than British English.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

A few things on power supplies, I'm from England and my wife is from Japan, so we have a ole mixed bag of electronics.

Always read the power supply most, but not all will handle multiple voltage, 100~240volt, that way you can just change the plug.

Check the unit it plugs into there normally 5~12volt, as long as you have the right plug polarity you can use a local power adaptor.

I would have thought the head set would be a 5 volt unit able to charge via a USB adaptor.

Worse case is buying a 220/240 volt to 110 step down adaptor $13. LINK

Of course blu-ray and DVD are a different system PAL than we use here, there are ways around this two.

Question: We all the bluetooth equipment sold in the states what was so special about the one in the UK that made you order from there.

I had a Sony bluetooth with integrated headphones and one earbud stopped working. The Samsung bluetooth headset has a 3.5mm connection for the ear phones. Since I'll just be using it with my gps and I have a Scala Q2, which won't pair with my Garmin 765T, I'll just plug from the Samsung to the Scala and listen through the Scala headphones. I had googled before purchasing and found only one other bluetooth headset, without integrated headphones, and it was from Jabra, I believe, and didn't get very good reviews.

I had adapters already; but, like I said they were only for using on what I would call U.S. products in other countries. I checked the internet for adapters; but, the descriptions I found were not very clear as to whether they were truly universal; in other words I didn't want to end up with the type adapters I already had. So, I purchased a universal adapter from Best Buy and it works fine.
