Ram Mount For Butler Drink Holder

I Got my Butler at Spyderfest and Mr Butler had said the long bolt on the back was put there to mount a Ram Ball you can put your phone or whatever on. I finally found the correct ball mount and thought I'd share. :thumbup:

I also ordered the double sided socket to mount an X grip for my Samsung Galaxy note 4

I will, it's scheduled for delivery next Wednesday.
that is if I get all 3 pieces in one shipment. I know many here use the Butler. I dont know how many know that its set up for a ram mount.

Here is a before pic. The bolt stud on the lower left is where to mount the ram ball.

I got 2 of the 3 pieces I needed. One of them is the ball that mounts on the butler. It is a perfect fit.:yes:

This is why Butler included that extra nut under the acorn nut. The purpose of that nut is to act as a lock nut for the ball mount. The acorn nut is just a throw away once you get the ball. I dont know why he does not offer the ball with the package. He just said I could find it on Amazon.

I also recieved the X grip with the tether in the mail today. Im just waiting for the double socket arm to connect it all together. Ill post pics once I get it in.
