• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rain Gear

Any of you guys ever seen any rain jackets with a hood that will fit over a modular helmet? My helmet is pretty snug, and my rain jacket hood is too tight of a fit under the helmet. I'm looking for a good rain jacket where the hood will fit over the helmet.

Is there such a thing out there?

I removed the hood from my rain jacket. My rain jacket has a collar that closes tight around my my neck. I would be afraid that a hood might be caught in the wind and pull my head back. As long as you are moving, you will stay dry unless you are in a down pour. I have ridden a lot of miles with just my collar being buttoned up/velcroed tied and stayed dry.

 It probably doesn't exist... The hood would end up catching a lot of the rain, and just dump it down your neck! nojoke

I don't think it would be a good idea. Most hoods are pretty thin and will fit under the helmet, though a bit of a pain to get sorted out. But I would never want to try it over the helmet. I think you would be sorry if you tried.

Collar

I too just keep my collar tight around the neck and tucked into the back of the helmet so no rain goes down my back or neck. Never tried a hood so can't give you any advise but I think the others are giving you some good advise.
