Radiator Fan

Hi All,

How many temp bars before the radiator fan comes on ?

And...will it come on while ryding down the road ?

I have a 2008 GS. Fan comes on between 5 and 6 bars.
yes it will if temp gets up to this range. Mine was running so
hot in traffic I installed a RT fan assy. cools down much faster now.:2thumbs:

Are these good for the RT as well or do they have different temp ranges for the bars and the temp to turn on the fan?

Carlo told me some time ago that the bike can run 6 or even more bars for extended times without an issue. The engine can be run hard and hot...

Unless you're throwing codes, the radiator fan your bike came with is just fine...
