• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Questions about my new ride and add on equipment

I recently purchased a 2008 SE5 and have some questions about optional equipment. I find they foot pegs uncomfortable and the wind coming off the windscreen is very turbulent and rocks my glasses to the point they won't stay on. I have seen ads for Rivco floorboards that state they lower the pegs 2" and move them forward 4". Is this true. Secondly I believe the windscreen is an after market item and is 26" tall. It is at a height that puts all the turbulence right at eyeglass level. I saw a 30" on the internet but it is very narrow and doesn't have the same coverage widthwise that my current one does. Would cutting it down reduce the turbulence?

Besides the windscreen some of the other after market items on it include: Corbin double seat with backrest, small truck with backrest for the passenger, add on sound system, pull back handle bars, different front rims (5 spoke) There may be more that I am unaware of. If I can figure out how to post a picture I will.

:congrats: on the new ride. I have the 23" wind screen works good I am only 5'7" I think I should have got the 26" wind screen. As for the foot pegs see Lamont's LAMONSTER GARAGE he has a lot of items might find what you need there. Enjoy the ride :yes:jtpollock
