You can also go to http://spyder.brp.com/en-US and register there. You will need to enter your VIN in order to get set up.

I bought used from a private seller. I did what others have suggested. Also, there is a site that dealers access which has owner info. They entered my name in place of the former owner. I think all dealers have access to some central BRP site.
