• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question re: Model Year 2020/ Model Year 2021 confusion

Yesterday I spoke with a dealer here in Ontario, Canada and was told that the reasoning for re-badging the MY2020 to MY2021 is based on the Ministry of Transportations regulations (i.e. A vehicle built after Jan 1/20 is eligible to be badged as MY2021 and a vehicle built after July 1/20 must be badged MY2021). I was also told that there will be a new release of the MY2021, different colours and minor improvements some of which may have already been implemented in the re-badged MY2021.

My Question is: Can anyone confirm or debunk this information?

I have no idea. But it is my understanding that the manufacturer designates model year for registration. At least in the US.

Another person posted yesterday, that in talking with his dealer, it was mentioned that the "official" reveal day for 2021 is supposed to be October 1.

The whole model year change thing has been interesting, to say the least. We are less than two weeks away from the "answer."

Time will tell. :popcorn::popcorn::bbq::bbq:

At least five members have posted about their new 2021's. So far they have said they got 2021 manuals. Now, we are hearing about color changes and small improvements too. :dontknow:
