Question on 2020 accessory GPS Zumo 590

Looking in the 2020 BRP accessory catalogue they offer the Zumo 590 GPS for the RT & the F3
But it states the following:-

Incompatible with 2018 RT and F3 models featuring the VIP cluster.
What is VIP ?
And does this mean it will work with 2019 & 2020 RT & F3 models

Isn't it fun when BRP introduces an acronym like VIP in a catalog and does not refer to it in either the RT or F3 operator's guides. Then again they can always claim a language barrier.

Between MYs 2018 and 2019 BRP did make some changes to that electronic gizmo on the dashboard, probably because of so many customer complaints and necessary modifications to a system that they rushed into 2018 production when it wasn't ready for prime time.

I dont know what roadblock would keep you from adding a Garmin 590 but when I hear that nonsence, I can hear Lamont say hold my beer.
