Question for Kewlmetal Filter Owners - Do you have to clean it?

So, I've owned the Kewlmetal air intake kit for a couple years now, and it recently occurred to me, do I need to clean and oil the filter?

I'm guessing you treat it like any ol' K&N filter, but honestly, I forget if there ever were any instructions to do so.

I don't have one but if it a foam type filter yes you will half to clean it and recoil it eventually, if it's a paper filter gonna need to replace it but if I remember there is a K&N style filter

Yes, it needs cleaned & re-oiled

Filters..!!

I have the JT Machine which is basically the same thing. I did switch to the K&N which does need to be washed and reoiled after some outrageous number of miles. I do check it and will wash and reoil when it looks dirty or runs rich or mileage drops...:thumbup:
