• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question -- FCS?

I should know what this is, and I believe I have even seen a thread here that discusses it .... darned if I can find it though. When checking the radiator coolant level, the easiest is to take the left access panel (left when in front of the bike) off and just look at the tank behind it. I noticed that the coolant in my new 2016 RT Ltd is orange instead of the yellow / green from the 2012. So, I pulled the book out to see what is recommended and there is a statement "Be careful not to damage the FCS" (when removing and installing this cover). There does a appear to be an odd looking switch of some kind under this cover -- for the life of me I cannot remember what it is for. It is near the latch, and definitely under the cover when in place -- has two slender "arms" (sorry I didn't take a pic).

Even SpyderCodes does not have a definition .... can anyone shed a little light for me?

Many thanks .... Ann

Frunk light control switch?

Since the demise of the remote Frunk opener, I think the switch only controls the light in the frunk?

The frunk light only works with the key on so you can see in there at night. That switch is to let you know if the frunk is left open. It will scroll a message on your dash display just like the side bags and trunk will.
