Question about power outlets

I have a 2014 RT. A friend of mine has a 2012 RT and it has a power source where the parking brake,fog light switch panel is near handle bars. He also has a outlet near the grip for the passenger. Mine has a spot where those should be but it just a blank. How difficult, or is there a kit that I can put those two outlets in?

Those are both owner add ons. Ask your friend how he did them.

I haven't installed it yet but I plan on wiring into my battery tender lead which also runs my heated clothing. It has a in line 15 amp fuse.

Did mine last month. Pretty easy job. I took one side off to route wires. There is a video out there of how to wire back towards rear heated grip switch since it powers up when bike is on.

Measure and Mark out with tape on the blank spot, don't cut out too much or the switch will wobble. I used a utility knife with a fresh blade and made tiny cuts to make a perfect fit.
