Pushing out for SITA on Friday afternoon

See you there? making an early run, stopping at my parents home in Utica, NY.

Taking this rough route... Probably will be changed up a bit but last year I ran 219/72 in WV and 220 in VA among others and it was one fantastic series of roads... So good I need to do it north bound....

On the way back south I'll be heading down the Hudson River Valley to run the Eagle's Nest, then on to a wood working museum west of Philly. Stop and see a buddy outside of D.C. and then heading down the eastern Chesapeake and outer banks of NC for kicks.

Cool... have a safe trip...so you're leaving a week early?

I might scoot up there.. leave on Wed the 8th or thurs the 9th..... ride there in one day.... hang out till Sat... then ride home on Sunday.... It's about 800 miles each way for me....

Let me know. Have a spare room at my parents and a cook out there on the 11th. Get into Utica on the 5th and head up to Lake Placid on the 9th in the am and probably stop and swim along the way... Staying at the Winterberry B&B - reasonable rate compared to the hotels.

On the 10th - Planning on doing an epic ride into Vermont - 400 miles... will be long day.

Yeah... I hear that. Last year wasn't horrible thanks to the riding company I had ( Doc and Forest), but it has prompted me to finally update my rain gear.
