Purge Valve Update

I was looking for a solution to my bike running bad as it gets hotter, and read about a Purge Valve software update. I checked the Can Am web site for a Purge Valve software update and found none. What do I ask my dealer to check for?

pinch or plug the vacuum hose from intake to the valve when the problem is there. if it goes away, replace the valve. common problem, i ended up relocating valve in front of the air cleaner to keep it cool. 3 valves in 40k miles...

Thanks to all who sent solutions to my problem. I will plug hose from manifold and give this a try.
