• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We have been getting alot of phone calls and emails regarding our new handlebar and center console set up for the Spyder. I finally have the production bars in my hands so I put together this photo with the dimensions so everyone will know exactly what these bars are. These bars were designed specifically for the Spyder and have the correct knurling in the center. They are .095 DOM tubing, not the cheaper tubing with a seam or thinner wall. They are beautifully powder coated gloss black. Some people are concerned that the stock cables will not reach with the taller bars. The test bars I currently have mounted on my Spyder are 8~9 inches tall (per the diagram below) and the stock cables still work! The pic of my Spyder shows the center console with the yellow spyder web inlay. You can also see there are 3 built in mount points located in the ideal locations for GPS, Intercom, MP3, and even a cup holder or whatever you want. Mine currently has the Garmin Zumo 550 on the right, the J&M Intercom and CB on the left and a cup holder in the center position. We provide a universal GPS mount that has the Garmin Zumo hole pattern already designed in. Also remember, with these bars, you can rotate them in the handlebar clamp for significant fore and aft adjustment capability, something you can not do with the stock handlebar cover. This setup also works even if you already have the BRP riser installed.

Looks good Bro. So am I going to get to see this in Sturgis? I can't get Big Joe to call me back and let me know if he's going to be there. It would be cool if we all could get some riding in. :doorag:

Lamont is my hero... I'm still trying to get it "dialed" in, too. :D

I've been a "pioneer" on quite a few new motors in the last 15 years and the after-market support for the spYder is the best and quickest, by far thanks to folks like you, Matt, Magic Man, et al.

MATT, Can you tell us the price of these new bars? When is the estimated time to ship the bars?

Sopher,

The Bars sell for $69. We have a few sets in stock and ready to ship. The remainder of the first production run is a week or two away. I had all the vendors ship me handfulls of everything as soon as they had a few ready to go so we could start filling orders. The bulk of the first production run of all the various parts for the bars and center consoles are all being run as we speak. We are filling as many orders as we can as the parts come in and on a first come first serve basis. We sell quite a few Spyder parts in Europe, Canada, and other countries as well.

Just FYI, Joe and I will be out of the office untill Monday. We will try and answer questions on the board as soon as we can, but I am not sure if I will get to a computer past tomorrow morning untill Monday.
