• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yesterday our 20 year old grandson enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, he is the 4th generation of the family to serve.
My dad: U.S. Army - WW II; Me: U.S. Navy - Vietnam; Matt: U.S. Air Force - Desert Storm; Luke: U.S. Marine Corps - Bosnia and now Justin: U.S. Air Force. (Matt and Luke are our sons and Matt is Justin's dad.)

Grandma and I were at his swearing in ceremony and we are very proud of him.

:congrats: I know the feeling, Kind of brought tears to my eyes when my grandson graduated from Paris Island right across the street from my old barracks.

Wow...!!

Congratulations... and thank you and all of them for your service to this great country and keeping us safe...:bowdown:

We know the chest bursting pride too. In May our youngest grandson graduated from the USNA and is now an Ensign, following Devil Dog father and grandfather. Son and I pinned on his shoulder boards.

Congratulations....... my father was USMC in WW2, I was USAF in Vietnam (C-130-E), and my son was USAF in Iraq and Afghanistan (AWACs).
