Problems with Scala Rider G4, Tom Tom Urban Rider

I have a Tom Tom Urban Rider and a Scala Rider G4.
The G4 quality is very poor ,it crackles and keeps coming on when driving a few minutes before the anouncement,it also sometimes misses the start of the anouncement,or starts them with a crackle.
I have spoken with Cardo/scala.
They said update both and pair them new again,but it is still the same.
I am very disapointed with the sound quality.
As anybody else this problem?

Make sure you pair them over again, and after you turn them on press the A button. I think that might help.:dontknow:.

We got hammered by the storm on the Blue Ridge Pkwy Wed. at the owners event in Maggie Valley and one of the units crapped out. Hope they replace it under warranty.
