• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Problem With Engine Cutting Out?

This has happened approx 5 times now in the last 3 or 4 months now. I will be riding normal, usually just cruising, and all of a sudden the engine starts cutting out. It feels like the bike is hitting a rev limiter and stutters. The RPM's dont go way up or anything, the throttle just cuts out. I usually just pull in the clutch and just rev it up a few times, and it usually comes out of it. The stutters are a consistant pattern and duration like: Pa Pa Pa Pa Pa Pa Pa Pa... ect.

This first happened when it was very hot and humid out. Im in ohio, and this year we had a few weeks of extremely hot weather for our area. Bike read 111 degrees F when I had my first episode. I had parked the bike and blamed the heat and humidity on the problem.

The next few times it was around high 90's on the bikes temp guage. Again it stutters and cuts out. Bike was warm but it wasn't overheating or anything like that.

The last time it was just before dark and about 70 degrees F. Again I got on the throttle a bit and it came out of it eventually.

So far this has only happened when riding packing double. I haven't yet had this happen riding solo. Dont know if it has anything to do with it, but just another observation of mine.

Have any of you guys experienced this by chance?

I am currently running Tailgunner exhaust cannon, K&N air filter and Juice box pro running the two bro's single canister map. Bike ran awesome until recently.. just seems very sluggish.....

Also I got a rotational chirping noise that sounds like its coming from the rear at 20-25mph. I have had this since I owned the bike and during my first service I told the mechanics about it. They stated they couldnt find anything wrong and it wouldnt do it for them.... they must be deaf.... Sounds like the belt to me, but I'm no mechanical wiz kid.. i just ride.....

Any advise or help is appriciated.

I would suspect that something is not perfect with the juice box and exhaust modifications.

I am not the mechanical expert that you seek--but these things have been mentioned in other posts.

These things have to be tweeked just right or the :spyder2: computer fights back.

The experts can give good advice--they will come.

Check the ground wire on your JB. They have been known to fail if the ground comes loose or if the wire is cut.
