• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On the country roads of Oswego county NY. Pristine country roads unsalted, unsanded, & unplowed. 2 hour tour. Current conditions - see above. Tow vehicle available. Discount for anyone with coffee and doughnuts. You hook up the winch cable!!

The only donuts I will have will be the ones I am doing when I am flogging that little 380 I "bought for the kids" :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Oh good, no towing discount for you!!

I sure do like my Yamaha 973cc 4 stroke. I did take those pic's this morning. It has been snowing harder since I took them.

We've got a little snow down here, it has been snowing and blowing all day. Not enough for a liquid cooled sled yet. Then again, I refer to a foot of snow as a little.

:nopic: on that Yamaha??? That is one mistake I make. Not enough pictures of the sleds I have had the privilege to ride. I might have a pic of the old X-RS somewhere.................but it would take some digging.

Is that the triple??

Yes it is a carb'ed triple 120 hp. exhaust runs under the seat and out the back. Seems to have a pretty good power band so far, still breaking it in so haven't gone over 40 mph yet.

I'll have to take a couple of pic's, maybe tomorrow. Going to try for a ride. Left it on the trailer this past Sun. so I have to hook-up to truck to open up the clam shell. If I get a spark of energy I will hook the trailer up later and take a couple of pic's.

Break the four-stroke sleds in exactly as the manufacturer suggests...
They need time to loosen up; flog 'em too hard, too fast and you can "squeak" the rings up a bit... :gaah:

Took pic's of it on the trailer of course, hooked it up to the ranger.

I try to follow the break-in procedures on everyhing as you suggested Bob. Think that's a good idea myself.

As soon as they build a 4-stroke that makes as much HP as a 2005 Mach Z (171 HP after 200 miles of trail riding) I will buy one. That is one beautiful machine ya got there. It is nice to ride and not have to worry about wrenchin on them eh? That is the beauty of riding a yamaha, they are so well built. Hope you are enjoying the trails this weekend, ride safe.:doorag:
