• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

how do I check to see if my power steering is working? It seems at a stop it turns just as hard with the engine running as it does when it is stopped. I have a 2014 RT-s se6. thank you

You'll know....

if stopped on asphalt hard to tell. On a very slow roll or smooth pavement you will notice it more but if it is not working and you don't get a message from the nanny you will still notice it especially in the turns.. don't guess there are many who can remember cars before power steering...parking and in town driving was a workout but once you were rolling things were a breeze..:roflblack: if you have a lot of miles you really don't feel it working at all...

I didn't think it was supposed to work at a stop, only at low speed and not even at high speed. It is not true power steering only power assist. But what do I know?

:agree: Sitting still I get no help, with just a slight roll, like backing out of the garage, it works fine.

Hence the term ......... "DYNAMIC". As in "MOTION". But, you knew that. Right?

Me Too!

I was on a trip a couple of weeks ago and got nervous about my power steering. From standing still it was hard to turn but once rolling it turned fine. I couldn't remember if this was normal or if something was wrong. No warning lights were on but I finally saw another Spyder & checked it. Seems it is power assisted and works when rolling.
