• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just got power commander v because I put new muffler on. Not looking for more power really just want to have a safe tune on spyder. So should I just use power commander or should I also get the autotune too?

you are ok without but much much better with Autotune, especialy for your engine sakes

I have the auto tune. would not be necessary if we had a Dino in my area that would handle a spyder to do a tune. Plus if you do other mods later, you can make the auto tune retune her for you and dont have to pay big bucks for a Dino again.

It sounds like you can't go wrong with power commander v with autotune. Has anyone had any problems with this setup?

I paid $ 315 for the power commander and I have not priced out the autotuner yet. If it keeps a safe tune on your ride they its hard not to get it.

Power Commander V and Auto Tune

Can't speak about it on the Spyder, but on my CVO SE 110 Harley, it works great and you can plug your laptop in and do custom tuning as you watch the AFR (air fuel ratios) being displayed on the laptop.:yes:
