• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pot Hole

Coming back from a ride on Saturday I hit a pot hole just outside of Wellington Ut. It caused the rear suspension to compress enough that it rubbed against the wires going up the inside of the rear fender from the LED flag that I had installed on the rear fender. This caused a short and blew a fuse causing my electric shifter to not work. In repairing the issue I removed the LED Flag. I will give it to any one who wants it postage included to USA destinations. I don't know if it works, you will have to repair the wires coming out of flag. I am sending it as is. You will have to figure out how to re glue it to where ever you are going to mount it.

Bummer.....

Sorry to hear about the pot hole incedent and its damage to your ryde. Glad you were able to fix the problem but wonder why they ran the wires on the outside of the fender. Hope you get some takers on the flag should still be fine if the fuse did its job in time.....

A tad off topic:

Yes...those potholes can be nasty stuff. We hit one in 2009 and it caused the RS to bottom out and knock the license plate off the bike. Did not know how to dodge it quickly enough. Missed it with the fronts, but the back wheel nailed it.

Ran on the inside. If on the outside it would not have been hit but would have been ugly
