• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Post here if you have over 5000 miles, not kilometers on your Spyder

UPDATE-
I got a note from BRP that they did send my 25K pin out but for whatever reason I never got it, nor did Doc. They also said that they are sending these out every three months. So depending on when you applied for the pin you may get it in a couple of days or you may not see it for three months. That would explain why some have gotten theirs and some haven't.

This pin (if we do it) will be in addition to your BRP mileage pin. :doorag:

I'm going to ask Mark at CAT if he can make me up some SpyderLovers 5K pins. I have no idea on the cost of these and if we can do the 25K pins too but we can send you a 5K pin for every 5K you put on your Spyder. I may have to tie it into a t-shirt sale or something to where if you have over 5K you could request a pin. Maybe give your current mileage when you order from the store. :dontknow:

Anyway that's just a thought on how you can showoff your mileage and promote the club too. I'll let you know if this is a go or not after I talk to Mark. :doorag:

So if you have over 5K please post your mileage here so we can get a starting count production wise.

Ive got just under 12K before I had to take a break.

Hopefully Ill be back on in a couple months and start rackin em up again.

BTW, I believe I did recieve my 5K pin from BRP after took it in for its first service. I believe thats how thay are keeping track of those pins, so if your a do it yourselfer, they may not be recording your mileage....????:dontknow:

Received the second 5K as a substitute for the 25K pin. Called BRP a month ago and...:dontknow:

No, you fillout the form and send them a picture of your odameter on SpyderRyders. That's how I applied for the pin. Has anyone seen a 25K pin?

I have right at 7800 miles.

I filled out everything on the spyder ryder for the 5k pin submitted my pics and so forth and then 3 days later it wanted me to submit it again so i gave up on BRP.

Q and A

In order to match the 33,300 miles, how many pins and with what value I need ?!? :D

Just turned 10,000. Had the cluster changed at 2765, so I had to wait for 5000 to show to request pin. So far, no pin. Spyder still humming.

First two clusters combined mileage of 9384.4 Current Cluster 8507.5 this gives me a grand total of 17,891.9 as of 5/26/09 @ 0955.

I have 7775.1 miles as of this morning after work!!

I got my 5k pin a while back.:2thumbs:

I got some sort of pin from them awhile back and put it in my BRP box. I never applied for it. Lemme see what it is tonight when I go home.:dontknow:

11,500 miles in just under 8 months! And, I received my 5K pin a few weeks back - shortly after posting the dash photo on SpyderRyder.

Yepper... over 5,000. Don't need a pin, though. That doesn't make it faster or safer.

I filled out the form 2 weeks ago along with a picture and so far:dontknow:.
We have 6700 miles on now. About 4000 since Jan 7th this year.
So BRP, how hard is it to check the email, verify the mileage in the picture and send the pin? I don't know............just sayin!
