• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a few more questions, I will list here rather than start
a new thread,..........Is it better to shift into neutral on the SE5 when at a stoplight or makes no difference keeping it
in first? I am referring to over all longevity of the transmission/engine parts. I will be many times in stop-n-go traffic, in that instance
i don't think I will put in neutral but at stop lights is it better to?

And does it make any difference that I keep the ipod harness plugged in and the Ipod nano attached or are either of these draining the
battery or doing harm to each other when I start up and shut off power?

also can someone post what the best shift parameters would be on the SE5, ie speed range and rpm with mph , thanks can't find anywhere

SOoooooooooo How do you view the digital gas gage on the right of the screen ? I know how to view the digital suspension gage on the left.

I ordered the GPS (I have), the CB Communication system (expected 2/11)and the XM satellite radio (expected 2/17) I am
having them installed at the same time as this will save 1 1/2 hours of labor. My question is,
when are the Helmets gonna be available? Isn't it a big feature you can listen to music , traffic, and the gps telling
you which way to turn without glancing at the screen.

some answers

  • Helmets don't have the headsets installed - they are separate and you can get Can-Am headsets or J&M
  • CB antennae will be on the left rear side of the trunk
  • XM antennae is smaller and flat and goes under the body work
Can't answer your other questions.

The digital fuel and temperature gauges are disabled when you have the analog gauges. Don't ask me why, I would love to have both.
