I know someone had mentioned in the past how to make the trunk lid pop open without having to use both hand.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not sure I understand. I just turn the key to disengage the trunk and then walk around to the front and open it.

thats the problem...when i turn the key to open it, if i have my hands full, and i release the key before opening, its stays locked. I have to pull it up before i let go of the key.

All you have to do is adjust the latch. I had to do that with mine and now it does not get water in it when it rains or when I wash it and I only need one hand to open it. You may have to adjust a few different times to get it just right. It will never spring open but you'll hear a little "pop" and know that you can just reach down and open your trunk. Your latch may have to come down lower or go up higher of be move slightly. When you look at it, you'll know what I am talking about. There is a latch just like it on the seat that can be adjusted as needed as well.
