• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Poor licence plate lighting - My mod

Came across a couple of Chrome numberplate screw LED’s
that I had purchased sometime ago so I decided to fit them to my RT
Having fitted them I noticed just how poor the numberplate light is fitted as standard by BRP I took it out and noticed it was rusting on one of the connections
Rather than just replacing it I decided to make my own
again I found some small White LED’s similar to ones I had fitted to make my indicators easier to see
I made my own plate and it is a lot brighter see photos

Very nice. :2thumbs::2thumbs:

Some other possibilities for those shopping:

Corbin had an license plate frame that I put on my 08. That also had better lighting than the OEM.

On my new Vulcan, I put an LED frame on--LEDS for everything including turn signals. Got that one from RevZilla.
