• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

PNWBear

Hi PNWBear, well I know where the roads are that come together there. I hate coming over to the west side. So damn much traffic. If you ever come over to the east side to ride. Let me know if you want company on the ride. Nathan in Yakima

I grew up and lived/worked in Western Washington between Puyallup and Everett for almost 60 years. Retired 20 years ago and moved to sunshine. I usually do a road trip to visit friends/relatives each year. But, I avoid the I-5 corridor between Olympia and Everett. Drivers have become insane over the years. The guy that invented texting ought to be strung up (IMHO). That section of I-5 is one of the very worst encountered. There are so many great and beautiful alternatives. Enjoy your riding. The Cascade loop is terrific and can be done in one long day but is much better in 2 or even 3......

When my Spyder gets out of the hospital I plan on take my lady friend on the Cascade loop. Will do it in two days, as I have a place to stay above Lake Chelan with in-laws or at sons second home in Sun Cove on the East side on the Columbia river 30 minutes away.

Boatfixx, I grew up in Port Angeles and had family in Port Townsend.

canamjhb, I try to void Seattle traffic. I came through of Sunday on the last day of my 6 day 1800 mile bucket list ride three weeks ago from East Valley of Phoenix to Lake Stevens, WA, which is a few miles East of PNWBear
