• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OK- I have Not seen anything- Do they last forever?? How Hard is it to Change F3 Plugs?
I changed GS Plugs- Hope to sell my 2012 RT before they need changing??
How hard to change F3 Plugs?:dontknow:

Relax...

They are a lot easier...and they do last a long time...When you do change them go Iridium from BajaRon and maybe the better plug wires as well. I have 35,000 on mine and they are doing great....

Do You have the F3? I know the GS isn't to bad. The F3 should come with Iridium.

Different than on the 998 but about the same labor time. 2 hrs give or take. Still a bunch of 'stuff' in the way.

Thanks. Much easier than the 2012 RT, I HOPE??

I
did not find the RT 998s 'Difficult' As I said, either one is about a 2 hour job removing and reinstalling stuff to get to the plugs. Once there, the plugs themselves are pretty easy on either bike.

Look specifically at pg 91 of your owner's manual for the change frequency, 28K miles, and pg 130 for the plug spec and heat sink paste that is supposed to be used on the plug threads.
