Please describe what a "skin" is.

These seat skins I see for sell, do they have padding that gives a seat a different profile, or are they only covers that go over the original seat cover? Are they hard to install and do they work well (stay put)? I assume it would not matter if they are for an RS or RT because I just want a general description of what they're comprised of.

i believe they are just a replacement cover. the rs stitched cover is just installed over the stock cover, and attatched with plastic plugs. no cover is going to help a stock rs seat. i'm having mine remodeled.:thumbup:

They are secondary covers...at least the BRP version. They do not replace the original cover, they go over it...sort of like a slip cover on a couch.
