Please allow one Spyder Newbie Question

I have searched the boards without much success to this question, which BEST to buy? Best or Best Plus? The dealer wants $250+ for the first 600 mile service. Looks like I have found the best deal at $1440 for the best plus.

I just bought a new 2011 Spyder RT S and picked it up Thursday so I know I have some time to decide.

Help me with this one and I promise not to ask about the best oil, etc...

Jim first :welcome::congrats:. This is the place to ask ALL the ?'s you want. (My experience on connecting with Spyderlovers is you will get knowledgable answers in a timely manner...so please ask away). OK now to my decision on BEST...based on info I got from Spyderlovers.com I choose BEST...and got absolutely best price from Berts Mega Mall (Bryce is the sales person for the BEST warranaty). There is several comments on the BEST vs BEST PLUS...do a search .. think you will get all the info you need to make the decision that works best for you and your :spyder2: again :welcome:

I bought BEST. My dealer said "Don't buy BEST PLUS as it is not worth it." The dealer sets the BEST prices, shop dealers if you dealer is much over $800. All Spyder dealers are supposed to honor the BRP BEST warranty, so you don't have to buy from the dealer that sold you the Spyder.

:agree: $800 should be max - try to get your dealer to give it to you for that price. If not, give CowTown a shout, their prices generally seem good too.
