I know this has been addressed a few times before. Has anyone to date been able to remove the slight amount of play in the steering? It seems to be about the same amount of play for everyone. I have about 1/2 in measuring at the end of the handle bars. In a cross wind I'm thinking if there was no play you would be able to hold a straighter line. Neil, 2014 RT, Ohio

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If you remove all play in your steering you would be constantly correcting your direction. Your car has some built in play too.

:agree: WITH ABOVE POSTERS ....... you are in the normal range ......... it was designed that way for a good reason ......Have you ever watched Formula One or Nascar races ??? .... they have very CLOSE TOLERANCE STEERING ( plus the alignment is set-up differently )...... and their hands are CONSTANTLY in motion ( steering ) ... Do you want to be doing this going down the road ........ jmho .... Mike :thumbup:
