• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

PILOT DOWN - RESCUE OF ROGER LOCHER, INTERESTING

I met then Capt. Ritchie at Udorn just prior to his becoming an ace. I was stationed at Takhli and was at Udorn picking up one of our F4Ds. His WSO, Chuck Debellvue lives here. I've had the pleasure of hearing Col. Debellvue talk about their kills. Chuck was also a member of the 335 FS Chiefs here at Seymour Johnson AFB. I heard about the rescue many years ago but had just about forgotten about it. I also had the opportunity to meet another ace, Gen. Robin Olds.

That must have been a great experience, both the meet and the talk. Events like that don't happen often enough to most of us.
