• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pictures too big

Can anyone tell me first, is there a page of instructions on how to write new posts?

or, how do I just get thumbnails at the bottom of the post without having huge pictures filling the page?.

When people have a picture of their bike at the bottom of the page and a list of Farkles, are they stored somewhere to just appear on every post or do they have to put them there every time they post?

Thanks for any help

The Pic & list of Farkle's I have at the bottom of my posts are part of my Signature line and accompany all posts.

Whatever picture you want to use on your signature line probably needs to be resized down to something more manageable...
Like I did with mine!
attachment.php

You resize the original picture on your 'puter, and save it. Then you just have to upload into your signature, when you are putting that piece of the puzzle in place.
(Don't forget to "save the changes"; the button is at the bottom of the editing box!)

P.S. It's also about the same process for adding an Avatar picture...
