• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Photographic Evidence

I had two Harley riders come up to me this weekend asking about my Spyder..One of them has a wife that wants one and wanted my wife's and I opinion, and the other one was a girl that had never seen one close up...To me it is like having a Chevy or a Ford...Why not get along?

Teddy is crackin me up. :roflblack::roflblack:
The picture is in Tonto National Forest, AZ. Beautiful ride.

PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE VERY TRUE!

Spyders and Harleys can live in Harmony. :joke:

This is so true.My husband and i are ryders:doorag: for just our second season . We have had nothing but positive :clap:response with our Sypder and it has been a great conversation:chat: starter. We just went for a ryde to a small community near our home town and was watching Harley riders walking around our Spyder:yes: and you knew this was their first time viewing. When we went out to our Spyder a couple (Harley rider) and his wife were walking around our bike and at the end of visit they encouraged us that any time:thumbup: we wanted to ride with them they would be happy. His concept was as long as your knees were in the breeze that is all that counts.:spyder:

I have found that Harley riders will either completley ignore the Spyder... or ask about a thousand questions about it. They also seem to be more knowledgeable and ask more intelligent questions.

Harleys and Spyders

I for years rode a Harley and for two years after I got my Spyder continued as the
Activities Director for the local HOG group. All my riding peeps are Harley riders and
they love my little red Spyder and let me park next to their tricked out Harleys. The
only ignores/snubs I ever get are from the bad ***** motorcycle clubs (you know the
ones, all in black, tiny skid lids on their heads, apes, and permanant scowls on their
faces).

Hey, we are all the same. Out their on the open road to feel the wind in our faces.

It can happen from time to time....a Harley buddy of Mowin's rode with us on the SICC run (Spyders in Columbia County ;)) a couple weeks ago!
No blood was shed!

http://200mileburgerride.shutterfly.com/114

a few of us have been riding with the 200 Mile Burger Runners here in San Diego since 2010. :D they are my 2nd Family along with my fellow San Diego Spyders. (blood family being 1st of course).

(start at breakfast and go approx 200 miles to lunch is the basic rule of the group)

a few Harley's, a Kawasaki and a Honda, along with at least 2 Spyders are regulars in this group.

Did somebody mention Burgers in only 200 miles?? :2thumbs:
I've travelled almost that far just for coffee... :opps:

To date, I have not had any bad encounters with HD people. That includes the road house we went into (there were about 5 HD's outside). Seated at one of the tables--a contingent of Hells Angels in full colors. They did not bother us but looked over the Spyders on their way out.
