• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

performance upgrade question

I went this route and found I had to add the O2 modifier as well to stop back firing on deceleration . It is a great mod as it adds extra HP, excelleration is crisp. It took a little adjustment to get the juice box where I wanted it but once that was done all was good!!

:agree:This is all true but you will suffer some fuel mileage drop. I average about 27-28mpg. However for me the benefits far outweigh the decreased mpg.....

I did it (except did not need the O2 modifuer). I did have to work through the backfiring issue, which seemed bo be e things.

1) It may take some miles for the system sensors to adjust to the new fuel settings, 2) I had to play with the Juice Box settings (I found the 2Bros recommendations too rich), and 3) you have to give the system sensors time to readjust to each Juice box change you make.

It seems like the immediate results you get when you make a JB change are are not necessarily what you will end up with as far as backfiring is concerned.

This may sound arduous, but it really isn't. Changing to the O2 modifier may make this process quicker and easier though.

Anyway, I think it is well worth the effort. Power goes up, not hugely, but noticably, my fuel mileage stayed the same for around town but highway mileage went up about 2 mpg.

Bike looks and sounds better too!

After going through the OEM Warrior pipe and the Micron, I've settled on the Yoshimura. I really like this one, but there are other good choices out there as well.

I just had the hindle exhaust put on my 09 RS along with the K&N performance filter and the 0-2 modifer and spydie's running like a dream...much improved performance.
