Perfect Weekend....

So this was an unusual weekend for us. Two local Cheer/Dance competitions, both within 15 minutes of our house. The woman that owns our gym perfers that we compete against very high level teams in order for us to DESERVE and really work hard the wins we get instead of being the king of the midgets.

Anyways Shelby's Cheer team won both Saturday and today and her Hip Hop dance team won Saturday and today and took Grand Champions for Dance on Saturday. This was a overall highest score out of all the Dance teams there which included a open team (18+ years old and 2 Senior level teams, high school kids). Keep in mind Shelby is 8 and the oldest girl on the team is 10.:2thumbs: Great job sweetiehyea::clap::yes::2excited:

Taylor had here second performace for her Special needs cheer team. One thing I can say, every performer, cheer and dance surrounded the performance floor to support these kids. Very nice to see that. There were also parents in the stands crying watching these kids having fun and tumbling around all over the floor.:2thumbs:

Our daughter was on a Cheerleading/Dance team 18 yrs ago, and placed second in the Germany Nationals Competition. So I know that feeling. :thumbup:
