• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I know this is probably a stupid question to most of you BUT the PE number, is it the last 4 digits of the VIN? Please help!

On Premier Edition Spyders, BRP used the last four numbers of the VIN as the PE number. Non Premier Edition Spyders don't have a PE number.

I'll add that the PE Spyders have a handlebar plaque that shows the PE number. On other Spyders this area is blank.

...And I will add that there were exactly 2,500 Premiere Edition Spyders made.

By that, of course, I mean approximately 3,856...

(Sorry--I couldn't resist. Nostalgia for our old silly conversations from last spring...)

does PE 1424 come before or after the 3,856...:spyder::hun::dontknow:roflmao

I suppose it depends on what you mean by "come before..."

I had been riding around on PE#2929 for months before I saw PE# something like 350 or so on my dealer's showroom floor. :dontknow:
