• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well I have had my RT for about 10 months and had a lot of misgivings about the purchase, but after a few early teething problems check dps etc, and a few not too expensive mods, the belt tensioner being the best, its going great, we have clocked up about 9000 klm and just returned from a 3000klm trip, loaded up to the point of not being able to get anything else in no matter what, we just kept adding as we bought things, the handling hardly changed in fact it did not bounce around quite so much, and the petrol consumption as far as I could tell was the same at 6,9 lts per 100klm, which I know will not mean that much to people used to gallons, but I thought is was pretty good for such a loaded up machine, always started first time, no problem through a storm of all storms, when we could barely see the road, I hope after posting this things do not go pair shaped. :sour:
I do, now have more faith in the product, and hope to be fitting the later 2011 front shocks this month, and have a Tiger airbrushed onto the Frunk lid and rear paniers, the only problem, we will likely have even more people stopping us for a chat about the bike, which we do not actually mind. would we buy another Spyder? yes, but I think good practical knowledge makes a big difference in keeping the machine happy.
watch out for the dreamers on the road. go for it, Don and Jackie

Thanks for your views. I know KPL . Kilometers per Liters. Have to agree on the belt tensioner as one of my mods .
